Hey, I Thought of You is a brick and mortar gift shop specializing in Chicago area and regional artists. We have a strong commitment to small arts businesses, LGBTQ artists, and diverse artists. The shop also offers small group art classes for both families and adults, along with community art and crafting nights. Dog-friendly dogs on leashes are welcome.
This is Bonnie. She likes chicken, sticks, and going to Horner Park to chase squirrels. She is an alum of Tiny N Tall Rescue. Bonnie is part Italian greyhound, beagle, and rat terrier, so she is great at howling, seeking out squirrels, and running.
She is a little shy at first, but likes back scratches and belly rubs.
Carolyn (she/her) runs Hey, I Thought Of You! She likes drawing, papercutting, tropical plants, musical theater, and dogs.
She moved to Chicago in 2009, after going to school at Alfred University in New York State and studying film photography and neon bending. A few years ago, she was the Chicago Public Library Maker In Residence and taught art classes all over the city.
Carolyn wanted to open a space where all these artists she's met could show their work and teach people in the community how to make different kinds of art.
